Mix Media water media. The leaf pattern on the paper is made steam real leaves onto the cotton watercolor paper. Color from the leaves stains the paper. The Owl was painted with watercolor, gouache, acrylic and ink. Backgrounds are painted with watercolor paper. The painting is varnished and sealed with cold wax.
