Once upon a time...Fond Memories

My wife and I once lived on this near century old farmstead nestled deep in the rolling hills of the Palouse. We lived here about three years while attending Washington State University in Pullman, Washington...50 years ago. It holds many fond memories. The farmstead no longer exists, being plowed under to accommodate more crop ground. In my painting of this subject I chose to make it soft without so much detail...more impressionistic......more like a fond memory.
